SYSTEMATIC Report On New Year's Eve Gig With METALLICA

January 5, 2004

SYSTEMATIC vocalist/guitarist Tim Narducci has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"Just thought I'd drop a line and say hey. The New Year's show with METALLICA was an absolute honor and a blast! The show was at the Joint in the Hard Rock hotel (for those of you unaware) an awesome venue I must add! The METALLICA boys and crew along with the Hard Rock staff were all amazing and made the trip over the top (PLENTY OF DRINGAGE)! A New Year's I'll never forget!

"They gave us a 45 minute set which made us break out a bunch of the oldies like 'Glass Jaw' and 'Of a Lesser God', we did the new one 'Save Myself From Me' with only a few glitches (being new and all) and of course the usuals 'Dopesick', 'Beginning of the End', 'Deep Colors Bleed', the standards, It was great to be up there cranckin' em out. Afterwards it was ON! Needless to say I think I'm still hung over.....

"Our old pal David Drainman [from DISTURBED] made his way out to the show and hung out. It was great to see him again, so like in old fashion, we proceded to finish the alcohol in the dressing room to ring in the New Year.

"I want to thank our awesome crew for meeting up with us and making the show flow smoothly: Diamond, Mike, Sean, and Jim. Also my bros in SPIDER GHOULAH… Hats Off!!!! I knew the RV would make it!

"So it's time to get back to work and I must say I'm excited to see all of these new song ideas come to life... It's demo time! We also have a few local shows at the end of this month.. so get yer asses out there!!!!!"

Upcoming SYSTEMATIC shows:

Jan. 25 - The Fat Cat – Modesto, CA (w/ UNJUST, CAPTIVATE)
Jan. 29 - DNA Lounge - San Francisco, CA (w/ LICA STO, FED UP)
