TAAKE To Release Live Single

Norwegian black metallers TAAKE will release a new seven-inch single, "Svartekunst", in early 2008, featuring live versions of the songs "Eismalsott", "Tykjes Fele", "Over Fjell Og Gjennom Torner" (DARKTHRONE cover) and "Voldtekt".

The lineup on this release is as follows:

Hoest (guitars/vocals)
Skagg (guitar)
Dommedag (guitar)
V'gandr (bass)
Thurzur (drums)

"Svartekunst" will be limited to 1,000 copies.

Hoest (photo#1, photo#2, photo#3) found himself at the center of controversy in March after he appeared on stage in Essen, Germany with a swastika symbol drawn on his chest.

TAAKE's third album, "Doedskvad", was released in 2005 via Dark Essence Records. The band had previously released two albums on the Wounded Love label: "Nattestid..." (1999) and "Bjoergvin" (2002). "Doedskvad" is the last installment in this trilogy.
