TARPITORCHESTRA Completes Work On Debut EP

December 8, 2009

TARPITORCHESTRA, the Finnish stoner rock/heavy rock band featuring former MYTHOS/HEIMIA drummer Teemu Hautaniemi, has completed work on its debut EP, "No Train No Gain", for an early 2010 release. The CD was recorded and mastered at Tuupa Records Studios in Raahe under the watchful eye of Jussi Isokoski.

According to a press release, "The four-song effort is tar-scented bluesy heavy rock with something different to offer. Each four tracks varies from boogie to metal and doom-ish blues even but still done with that special tar-stained touch."

The keyboards on the EP were recorded by Sampo Heikkinen (ex-DARK FLOOD).

"No Train No Gain" will be self-released by TARPITORCHESTRA and will be made available through all major digital music providers. A few physical CDs will also be manufactured and will be sold via the band's official web site.

TARPITORCHESTRA is:

* Matti Honkala (CYPHOSIS) - Vocals, Guitar
* Toni Tervonen - Lead Guitar
* Samu Niemelä - Bass
* Teemu Hautaniemi (FIREWALL, GOD FORSAKEN, MYTHOS, DIESEL BUNNY, HEIMIA, BODIES) - Drums
