THE 69 EYES' latest album, "X", sold around 1,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The effort landed at position No. 17 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
"X" also entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 47 and the Finnish chart at No. 4. The CD, which was released in Europe on September 28 via Nuclear Blast Records, was mixed by Stefan Boman (THE HELLACOPTERS, BULLET).
THE 69 EYES' "Borderline" video can be seen below. The clip was filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana with Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company, who has previously worked with DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, SONIC SYNDICATE and KAMELOT, among others.
