THE ACACIA STRAIN: 'Wormwood' Guest Appearances Revealed

Massachusetts' metal mammoths THE ACACIA STRAIN have confirmed the appearance of three guest vocalists on "Wormwood", their new album, due July 20 on Prosthetic Records. HATEBREED's Jamey Jasta, 100 DEMONS' Bruce LePage and Kyle Chard of BORN LOW all lend their vocal stylings to the CD, which was recorded at Planet Z Studios in Hadley, Massachusetts with Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, CHIMAIRA, SHADOWS FALL) handling producing, mixing and mastering.

Jasta commented on the album's opening track, "The Beast", which he appears on: "The song is brutal; kids will lose their minds."

THE ACACIA STRAIN has also just released the first installment in a new series of videos documenting the mysteries surrounding the band since the completion of "Wormwood". Check out the first video featuring the band's longtime friend and tour manager Swis below.

The track "Jonestown" is now available as a digital single at iTunes. This is the version which will be on the "Wormwood" CD, without the guest vocals of Kyle Chard. The version featuring Chard will be available exclusively through iTunes and on the LP version.

You can stream "Jonestown" now at the Prostheticwebstore where the official pre-order for the album, which will be available on CD and LP in six different colors, has been launched. "Wormwoodz", can be ordered on its own, or in a variety of different package combinations with shirts, hooded sweatshirts, in limited collectors' boxes (featuring an exclusive banner, pin and chip clip!) and more.

THE ACACIA STRAIN will appear this upcoming weekend at Ghostfest at Leeds University in the U.K. The band will participate in the "Cool Tour" in July/August with AS I LAY DYING, UNDEROATH, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, BLESSTHEFALL, ARCHITECTS, CANCER BATS and WAR OF AGES. They'll also be in Europe in September and October on the "Hell On Earth Tour" with TERROR and more.
