THE BONES Confirmed For Next Year's WACKEN OPEN AIR Festival

Swedish punk 'n' roll masters THE BONES have been confirmed for next year's installment of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

THE BONES recently posted another track from their upcoming album, "Burnout Boulevard", which will hit stores on October 22. You can listen to "Mighty Touchdown" at the group's MySpace page.

"Burnout Boulevard", the band's first album for Century Media Records, will be available as a CD and luxurious limited-edition digipak, including two bonus tracks, a video enhancement, poster and sticker. The CD was produced by lead guitarist Marcus "Boner" Petersson and recorded at the renowned MWC Studio in the band's hometown of Karlskrona, Sweden while the pre-production was done at Music-A-Matic Studios in Gothenburg (MILLENCOLLIN, THE HELLACOPTERS, THE NOMADS, D.A.D.).
