December 22, 2006Indiana-based doomsters THE GATES OF SLUMBER have uploaded the video for the song "Suffer No Guilt", the lead-off track from their latest album, "Suffer No Guilt", at YouTube.com. "Though done in the traditions of the underground, (i.e. DIY),we are very proud of it and feel conveys the image of THE GATES OF SLUMBER," the band writes in a press release.
"Suffer No Guilt" is described as "a 75-minute true doom masterpiece" and is available via I Hate Records.
THE GATES OF SLUMBER created their own record label, Slumbering Souls Records, and issued their very first release, the "God Wills It" 12" EP. The single contains the epic "true doom" 21-minute passage "God Wills It", which also appears on "Suffer No Guilt". Included on the B-side of the "God Wills It" EP is the track "The Cloaked Figure", which was recorded during the sessions for the group's first album, "The Awakening", but was never released "Stitched Back from Deth" which appears on the group's acclaimed "Sabbath Witch" demo and "Broken On The Wheel", which was recorded live at last year's Templars Of Doom festival in Indianapolis, IN.
