THE GATHERING To Make Russian Live Debut In May

Holland's THE GATHERING will make their Russian live debut on May 29 at DK Gorbunova in Moscow. 2,000 fans are expected at the gig, which will offer approximately two hours of "pure music," according to an official press release. Ticket information and venue web site: www.dkg.ru.

In other THE GATHERING news, Russia's Irond Records has released a split CD containing the group's two EPs, "Black Light District" (2002) and "Monsters" (2003). The artwork of both EPs has been combined into one album and the combined release contains all the bonus live video material from the "Monsters" EP. More information: www.irond.ru.

Also on THE GATHERING front: 3,000 Chilean fans recently witnessed the group's two concerts at Teatro Providencia in Santiago. The band's "Liberty Bell" single (from the album "How To Measure A Planet") is in the Top 20 on the Chilean single chart and MTV Chile is has the "Liberty Bell" video in daily prime-time rotation. In addition, "Liberty Bell" is positioned at No. 8 in the Chilean Ringtone Top 10.

Other THE GATHERING TV/radio achievements/events:

* MTV Netherlands recorded an interview and an acoustic live performance of Anneke and Frank at the National Pop Institute (NPI) last Wednesday (April 5) for their programme "MTV-NL". The "MTV-NL"show featuring Anneke and Frank will be broadcast on Sunday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. and repeated on Friday, April 23 at 4:00 p.m.

* The "Monsters" videoclip has been services to MTV Poland so and will be broadcasted on the channel soon.

* Dutch Radio 1 BNN (national radio) invited THE GATHERING to talk about touring and travelling around the globe. On May 3 between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. people living in the Netherlands can listen to THE GATHERING's tour stories during this radio show BNN "United" on Radio 1 and maybe the band will bring some exclusive live recordings from the latest tour.

* Dutch radio 3FM programme "Buzz" (daily from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.) will broadcast a live interview with THE GATHERING about their current international success on May 15 at the "Muzikanten Dag 2004" in Amsterdam.

* Anneke and Hans were interviewed by LACUNA COIL singer Cristina Scabbia for the Italy's Rock TV at Transylvania Live in Milan. Rock TV also recorded three tracks at THE GATHERING's concert for future broadcast on their TV show.

* THE GATHERING will be or already have been on four major TV shows in Croatia. All big newspapers in Croatia have covered THE GATHERING's concert in Zagreb on March 15.
