THE GATHERING: Tribute/Benefit CD Details Revealed

More details have been revealed about the upcoming tribute CD to late Arnoudt Pieters, featuring a previously unreleased track by THE GATHERING. Pieters, a former drummer of the CORDS and TELEFUNK, died on July 31 unexpectedly in the U.K. where he and his family had just moved to.

THE GATHERING's contribution to the CD will come in the shape of "Thunder Without Frequencies", which was previously used on an educational CD-ROM. The CD will be sold at the Songs for a Silver Surfer mini-festival at the Burgerweeshuis in Deventer on Sunday, October 17. Following the benefit concert, the CD will be available for purchase via THE GATHERING's e-shop at this location. All proceeds of the benefit will go to Pieters' wife Simone Holsbeek and their children.
