THE HAUNTED Frontman Launches Side Project
November 19, 2007THE HAUNTED frontman Peter Dolving has formed a side-project with "a couple of really good friends and great musicians." The group, which is presently going by the moniker O, features a musical direction that sounds like a mixture of NEUROSIS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, MASTODON, TODAY IS THE DAY and CLUTCH. In addition, Dolving's friend AmokCell will be taking care of the background projections and films for the group's live shows. "We will definetly be looking for a record deal," says Peter.
THE HAUNTED is currently writing material for a new album, which the band plans on recording in the spring for a late 2008 release.
The group's last CD, "The Dead Eye", was recorded in Denmark at Antfarm Studios with renowned producer Tue Madsen (HIMSA, SICK OF IT ALL).
