As previously reported, THE HUMAN ABSTRACT has set "Midheaven" as the title of its new album, due on August 19 via Hopeless Records.

Although the initial sessions for "Midheaven" were helmed by veteran producer Toby Wright (METALLICA, SLAYER, ALICE IN CHAINS, SOULFLY, FEAR FACTORY),the CD was completed with a different producer and Wright's name was "wiped off all credits," according to drummer Brett Powell.

THE HUMAN ABSTRACT's Hopeless Records debut, "Nocturne", was released in August 2006. The CD was recorded at a studio in North Carolina with with producer Jamie King (BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, HE IS LEGEND). Mixing duties were handled by Eric Rachel (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, ATREYU).

THE HUMAN ABSTRACT will appear on the second leg (July 22 August 17) of this year's Warped Tour on the Smartpunk stage.
