THE POODLES: New Album Title Revealed
November 26, 2008Swedish rockers THE POODLES have set "Clash Of The Elements" as the title of their third album, tentatively due in early 2009. The group, which recently parted ways with its record label Lionheart International after a three-year partnership, will once again work with producer Mats Valentin. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "One Out Of Ten", "Caroline", "Like There's No Tomorrow" and "7 Days & 7 Nights".
"We are just about to start recording an earth-shattering album!" vocalist Jakob Samuel said last week. "Hands down, it will consist of the very best material we have ever produced and we are looking forward to finding new partners to work with and new opportunities to explore."
THE POODLES recently recruited guitarist Henrik Bergqvist (SOUTHFORK, TIAMAT) to replace Pontus Norgren, who left the group to join HAMMERFALL. The new axeman made his live debut with THE POODLES on June 6 at the Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg, Sweden.
