THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE Interviewed By ILMOEntertainment.com (Video)
January 6, 2011Shawn Jones of ILMOEntertainment.com conducted an interview with Ricky Armellino (vocals) and Jack Esbenshade (guitar) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania's THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE on January 6, 2010 at The Brass Rail in Peoria. Illinois. You can now watch the chat below.
THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE's new album, "Haunt What's Left", was released on June 22, 2010 via Good Fight Music. The follow-up to 2008's "Monuments" was recorded at Spin Studios in New York with Josh Wilbur (ATREYU, AVENGED SEVENFOLD) and Chris Adler (of LAMB OF GOD).
Consisting of Armellino, Esbenshade, Rodney Phillips (guitars),Grant McFarland (drums) and Sean Hennessey (bass),THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE encompasses a sound that melds the fine Pennsylvania traditions that have brought us the likes of AUGUST BURNS RED, A LIFE ONCE LOST and THIS DAY FORWARD while taking their musical direction to a new and uncharted height. Exhibiting a veteran-like display of confidence and focus, THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE's accelerated evolution redefines how bands come into their own. THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE tightrope walks between masterfully crafted time signatures, dense rock grooves and melodic atmosphere. Their music combines the precision and technical prowess of MESHUGGAH with the raw, emotive urgency of SHAI HULUD and MISERY SIGNALS: A sound that is loud, compelling, and unique.
