THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD To Unveil New Song On Friday

May 30, 2007

South Carolina's THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD has returned from its first trip to Europe, where they toured with ION DISSONANCE and DEAD TO FALL. "The shows have been awesome and we've made a lot of friends over here in Europe," guitarist Justin Longshore said prior to the band's last European show. "It's been a blast, but I can definitely say everyone is ready to go back home, have a few days off, and then go right back out for THE RED CHORD tour. Plus, we really miss shitty U.S. fast food joints.'

Now gearing up for a direct touring slot alongside THE RED CHORD (with DESPISED ICON, ALL SHALL PERISH and SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY also making appearances),THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD is already hard at work supporting its forthcoming album, "Malice", due out August 21 through Prosthetic Records. An MP3 of one of the record's new tracks will be unveiled on Friday, June 1 via the band's MySpace player and ProstheticRecords.com.

The follow-up to THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD's 2005 release "Bloodlust", "Malice" was recorded with producer Erik Rutan (CANNIBAL CORPSE, VITAL REMAINS, GOATWHORE) earlier this spring at Rutan's Mana Studios in Florida. The record will also mark the debut of new vocalist Nate Johnson (ex-PREMONITIONS OF WAR, DEADWATER DROWNING).

Exclusive pre-order packages, as well as album cover art, are available here.
