THYRFING Set To Remix

January 10, 2002

Sweden's THYRFING will be re-mixing the follow-up to 2000's Urkraft CD, tentatively entitled Vansinnesvisor (not The Fourth Outrage, as previously announced) between January 19th and 21st for an April release. According to the band, we didn't feel that the [original] mix did any justice to the supreme recording and material, so this is the only solution. We will bring you nothing but the best! As previously reported, Vansinnesvisor (Swedish for tunes of lunacy) was recorded at Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala with producer Daniel Bergstrand (i.e. MESHUGGAH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DARKANE, STUCK MOJO),and it contains nine songs, the music for which is being described as the most dark and twisted side of THYRFING ever.
