TOKYO BLADE: Live CD/DVD Title, Release Date Announced

June 16, 2009

Reactivated NWOBHM legends TOKYO BLADE have set "Die By The Sword Tour Live" as the title of their new live CD/DVD, filmed at last year's Keep It True festival in Germany, which will be released on September 23 via Razar Ice Records. The artwork will be created vt Brazilian artist Gustavo Sazes (GOD FORBID, KRISIUN, LAUREN HARRIS).

An audio stream of the song "Lovestruck", taken from the forthcoming CD, is avaliable at TOKYO BLADE's MySpace page.

TOKYO BLADE will tour Europe between October 15 and November 2. The trek will include an appearance at this year's edition of the Heavy Metal Maniacs festival, set to take place October 23-24, 2009 at Manifesto in Hoorn, Holland, as well as stops in Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Denmark and France.

Commented TOKYO BLADE guitarist Bryan Holland: "We started rehearsals today. All went very well for not playing for a while. Writing, of course, has also begun. Many, many great riffs are flowing... this album is gonna kill!! We plan on adding some songs to the setlist that have never been played live for the upcoming tour in October."

Video footage of TOKYO BLADE performing the song "Lightning Strikes" at the Keep It True XI festival on November 15, 2008 at Soundpark-Ost (ex-Rockpalast) in Würzburg, Germany can be viewed below (clip uploaded by "stoneagelightning").

TOKYO BLADE is:

Chris Gillen - Vocals
Andy Boulton - Guitar
Bryan Holland - Guitar
Frank Sapardi - Bass
Lorenzo Gonzalez - Drums
