TOMMY LEE Bassist: I'm Not Auditioning For METALLICA

TOMMY LEE bassist Marty O'Brien wants it to be known that there is "no truth" to the recent rumors that he has lined up an audition for the vacant bassist slot in METALLICA.

"No, there is no real truth to that," O'Brien told BLABBERMOUTH.NET when confronted with the rumors. "Now that Tommy Lee has come off the road, people ask me what I have planned next, and I make jokes saying I'm just going to go ahead and join METALLICA... I say this jokingly, but I guess someone took it seriously if you heard it through the grapevine."
