TOMMY LEE Bassist To Tour With PRONG

February 27, 2004

TOMMY LEE bassist Marty O'Brien has issued the following update on his recent and upcoming activities:

"I've been pretty busy lately. Tommy Lee is locked up in his home studio writing new songs, so I'm taking advantage of the time off and I'm playing for anyone and everyone… Most importantly, I've gone and joined a new band. It's an unsigned band, with amazing songs and an amazing sound. I'm pretty damn excited about it. The amount of talent in this band is amazing. We are shopping to record labels right now. I'm going to keep the details a secret until the time is right... until then....

"I recently went into the studio with Ben Moody (EVANESCENCE) and played bass on a song of his called 'The End Has Come' for the new 'Punisher' movie soundtrack. It also features Jason Miller of GODHEAD and DROWNING POOL's new lead singer, Jason 'Gong' Jones, both on vocals. The CD will be released on March 23rd, and features a huge list of great bands. "Starting next week, I'll be playing bass for the band PRONG for a small handful of shows in March at various metal festivals around the country. I'll be working with my new band during the week in LA, then flying out on weekends in March to do these shows with PRONG. For more info: www.prongmusic.com."
