TRIVIUM Frontman: 'We've Always Felt That We've Done Whatever We Want'
January 16, 2007TRIVIUM frontman Matt Heafy spoke with Australia's Time Off magazine about being tagged as nothing more than revivalists at best, and plagiarists at worst. "We've always felt that we've done whatever we want," Heafy explained. "We never came up with a bunch of bands, we never came up with a movement, we're not really in a clique of bands. Five years ago people were saying New Wave Of American Heavy Metal, and then a few years ago it was some other bullshit term. We always just say we're a band that makes music. We're just TRIVIUM."
