TWISTED SISTER Frontman Talks With BOB RIVERS: Audio Available

Dee Snider was on the phone with Bob Rivers of 102.5 KZOK in Seattle on Monday (November 20) to talk about the first non-live or -compilation TWISTED SISTER album since 1987, "A Twisted Christmas". They spoke about how Bob Rivers' "Twisted Christmas" CD title is conflicting with their new album, Bob's effort to get "Twisted Christmas" copyrighted but noting that TWISTED SISTER was given an exception, and how Bob was happy about this and hoped some stoners would accidently buy his album instead. They also discussed the hair metal genre, being targetted by Tipper Gore in the '80s, how women are into their music, how selling their music for commercials being like selling junk in your garage, the changing distribution models of the record industry, what Dee's doing for Christmas, and more. As previously reported, TWISTED SISTER's video for the track "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" has been posted online at YouTube.com. The song has been selected as the new single from the band's "A Twisted Christmas" collection of metal versions of holiday classics, which came out on October 17 via Razor & Tie Records. The single will go for radio adds on November 27-28.

TWISTED SISTER will perform on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Wednesday, December 13. The show airs nationally on NBC from 11:35 p.m. to 12:35 a.m. ET/PT. The band will also be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" on December 13.
