ULI JON ROTH Victim Of Robbery In Barcelona

According to a posting at Uli Jon Roth's web site, a couple of thieves slashed a tire on the guitarist's car prior to his appearance at the Razzmatazz venue in Barcelona, Spain Saturday night (March 6). "They then grabbed a bag out of the car but found nothing of value in it, which is why they discarded it. When Uli heard about the incident he just smiled and called the muggers 'a bunch of desperado highway robbers.' Luckily nothing of value was lost."

As previously reported, Roth will embark on a U.S. tour beginning in late April. The initial tour dates will see Uli opening for UFO (see dates here),to be followed by some headlining appearances and festivals. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.
