VALUME NOB To Record Full-Length Debut In June

May 1, 2005

VALUME NOB, the Louisiana based band featuring CROWBAR/DOWN guitarist Kirk Windstein on bass, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"At last, VALUME NOB is back in full swing. Kirk just arrived back in town last night from a two-month CROWBAR run. We are set to begin rehearsing for our record beginning on Monday. If you all do not know, we are flying out to Los Angeles on June 16th to record our first full-length album with engineer Warren Riker ('Down II', and CROWBAR's 'Lifesblood for the Downtrodden'). We are planning an all-out assault on this album, with sixteen ass-blasting songs coming right down your throat. We are also going to have some surprises for you on this thing. For what is going to happen, you will just have to wait and see.

"We also have a show booked. It will be here in New Orleans, at Twi Ro Pa, on Fri. May 6th. So, if anyone is around town for this date, come hang out and throw back a few brews, and cocktails. We also will be appearing in Metal Maniacs August issue, which is set to hit the shelves on 5-24-05."

VALUME NOB released an extended version of their previously recorded "The Most High" EP last October through Crash Music Inc. The CD contains the four songs from the original recording as well as two "live" bonus tracks and a 30-minute DVD interview with the band.
