Vancouver's SCRAPE RECORDS To Celebrate 11th Anniversary With ICED EARTH

October 7, 2008

Vancouver, British Columbia's Scrape Records, which bills itself as "the only metal and hard rock specialty store in Western Canada," will be hosting its 11th anniversary show with ICED EARTH on November 19 at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Tickets go on sale this coming Friday, October 10 at 10:00 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge by phone 604-280-4444. Tickets are, of course, also available at Scrape Records.

Scrape Records opened its doors in November 1997. Located at 17 West Broadway for the first 10 years, Scrape moved into a much larger location in January 2008 with even more metal at 323 East Broadway. Stocking thousands of CDs, DVDs, vinyl, shirts, tickets and various other collectables, Scrape quickly become known as "the" place to visit for metal pilgrims from all over the world. An online presence was established in 1998 with www.scraperecords.com, helping the store's reputation grow even stronger. Major recent in-store signing sessions from ALICE COOPER, TESTAMENT and OPETH have brought out hundreds of fellow "disciples" lined up around the block, with previous signing sessions from ARCH ENEMY, IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, CANNIBAL CORPSE, LAMB OF GOD, CRADLE OF FILTH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, AMON AMARTH and many more.

Scrape Records is open every day.
