VELVET REVOLVER: 'Slither' Full Song Available For Listening
March 10, 2004VELVET REVOLVER fan site Velvet-Revolver.com has posted links to a BBC Radio stream of the band's first single, "Slither", in Real Media format. The track, which aired in the U.K. Tuesday night (March 9),can be heard at this location.
"Slither" comes off VELVET REVOLVER's much-anticipated debut CD, "Contraband", due on May 18 through RCA Records.
As previously reported, "Contraband" will include twelve of the more than fifty tracks the band co-wrote before and after vocalist Scott Weiland (ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS) joined the lineup last spring. The CD was produced by Josh Abraham (LIMP BIZKIT, STAIND) and mixed by Andy Wallace (NIRVANA, WHITE ZOMBIE, LINKIN PARK, SLAYER, SEPULTURA). Mastering took place on December 19 in New York City.
