VICIOUS ART: Video For 'Weed The Wild' Remix Posted Online

April 10, 2006

VICIOUS ART, the Swedish death/thrash metal band featuring former DARK FUNERAL members Matias Mäkelä and Robert Lundin, along with Jörgen Sandström (THE PROJECT HATE, ex-ENTOMBED, GRAVE) on bass, have upoaded a video for the remix of their song "Weed the Wild", created by underground techo/video producer Paza Rahas. Check it out at www.viciousart.se.

Paza Raha is known for his 8-bit remix of BECK's "Girl" but is most likely not a familiar name to most metal fans. More information on his work can be found at www.pazarahm.com.

Commented the band: "This is not a direction we want to lead VICIOUS ART into, but it's definitely interesting that Paza created this only by downloading clips and mp3 from the net. He never got the studio tracks separately. It's most likely that we will work together more, at least on the video side."

VICIOUS ART three-song "Weed the Wild" EP was recorded at the Offbeat studios in Stockholm in February 2006 and contains material that "will not be re-recorded [for] a future release," according to the band.

VICIOUS ART's debut album, "Fire Falls and the Waiting Waters", is now available via Threeman Recordings (Europe) and Candlelight Records (U.S.).
