VINCE NEIL To Plead Guilty To Misdemeanor In Incident With Ex-Girlfriend
October 31, 2011According to The Associated Press, MTLEY CRE singer Vince Neil will plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge and pay a $1,000 fine related to an alleged domestic violence incident involving his ex-girlfriend.
Defense attorney David Chesnoff said Monday that a more serious misdemeanor charge of battery constituting domestic violence will be dropped when Neil enters his plea next Monday in Las Vegas Justice Court
Chesnoff, said, "Mr. Neil is sorry he raised his voice."
Vince was accused of striking his ex-girlfriend, Alicia Jacobs in the chest with his finger, and of harassing Jacobs' friends, Patricia McCrone and John Katsilometes, who is a Las Vegas Sun columnist and editor.
Neil in April completed all of the requirements of his sentence stemming from his DUI case from in June 2010. The sentence ordered him to serve 15 days of jail time, 15 days of house arrest, pay a $585 fine, attend DUI school and attend a victim-impact panel online.
