VIRGIN STEELE To Perform Covers For Charity
March 20, 2004VIRGIN STEELE's David DeFeis (vocals),Edward Pursino (guitar) and Josh Block (bass) will team up with former EXORCIST drummer Geoff Fontaine and keyboard wizard Lynn Delmato to perform another gig of "Strange & Beautiful" cover tunes. This show will take place on May 8 at: Mulcahy's (3232 Railroad Avenue) in Wantagh, New York. The concert is a benefit for the South Shore Music Foundation. According to a post on VIRGIN STEELE's web site, DeFeis, Pursino and Co. will be performing under the moniker CARNIVAL OF SOULS. Commented David: " 'Carnival of Souls' is an old black & white horror movie from 1962. It was incredibly frightening at the time, and it is my sincere hope that our performance on May 8th will not be nearly as frightening musically…as the movie was."
