W.A.S.P. Drummer Launches THE HOWLIN' DOGS
August 27, 2002W.A.S.P. drummer Stet Howland, now residing in Florida, has joined forces with bassist/vocalist Bryce Barnes (BLACKFOOT, EDWIN DARE),guitarist/vocalist Joe Monroe (ENGINE JOE),and guitarist/vocalist Steve Lutke (TOBASCO KAT) in a brand new group called THE HOWLIN' DOGS. Self-described as "Florida's hottest band," THE HOWLIN' DOGS will make their live debut on Friday, September 13th at Eddy Fishbowl's in Ft. Myers, Florida. Additional dates will be announced soon.
In other news, Stet is scheduled to conduct a drum clinic on Friday, October 11th at the Guitar Center in Hallandale, Florida. IRON MAIDEN drummer Nicko McBrain will reportedly appear the next day, to be followed by a "drum-off party" at an as-yet-undisclosed venue later that night.
