WARMACHINE: Debut Album Release Pushed Back
October 5, 2005Toronto's WARMACHINE have pushed back the projected North American release date of their long-awaited debut album, "The Beginning of the End" (Nightmare Records),to November 22 from the previously announced October 25. The delay is being attributed to the fact that record label's "printer" is too "backed up."
WARMACHINE recently parted ways with bassist Andrea Zanini, guitarist Mike Miolla and drummer Michael Amaral. A replacement guitarist, former STAGES member John Salerno, has already been found, and the band are currently looking for a new drummer and bassist.
Commented vocalist/guitarist Joe Di Taranto: "Things have been going extremely well in my quest to find new members. I believe that we've found our new skinsman and I should be making an official announcement within the next few days or so in regards to this new addition to the band. I'm also auditioning bass players through out this week. Wish me luck finding our new five-stringer! The 'new' WARMACHINE is finally being built piece by piece and will be ready very soon. John (Salerno) and I are VERY excited about getting things back up and running and I know you will not be disappointed with our new family."
"The Beginning of the End" features a guest appearance on three tracks ("Betrayed", "Empty" and "Taunted Souls") by former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson.
