WINTERS BANE: New Song Available For Download

Akron, Ohio-based WINTERS BANE — best known as the former home of ex-JUDAS PRIEST/current ICED EARTH frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens — have posted a full-length MP3 of the new demo track "Catching The Sun" at this location. "Catching The Sun" comes off the group's recently recorded four-song demo, which is currently being shopped to leading metal labels. The group's forthcoming album — which will mark the recording debut with the group of new vocalist Alexander Koch (POWERGOD, SPIRAL TOWER) and drummer Jeff Currenton — is tentatively due at the end of the year. Among the other cuts set to appear on the group's follow-up to 1997's "Girth" are "Remember To Forget", "Seal The Light", and "Furies".

In other news, WINTERS BANE guitarist Lou St. Paul and vocalist Alexander Koch will be participating in an interview/chat session with DJ ZeroHour on Seismic Radio's "Absolute Zero" show on Saturday, September 13 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
