WIZARD Commence Songwriting Sessions For New Album
August 19, 2004German power metallers WIZARD have commenced the songwriting sessions for their sixth album, tentatively due in May 2005 through Limb Music Products. The follow-up to 2003's "Odin" will be recorded during January/February 2005 and will feature "WIZARD-style" lyrics again, "just as the fans expect them to be," according to a posting on the Limb Music web site.
In other news, guitarist Michael Maass has decided to quit the band "for a while" to concentrate on his studies. Standing in for him will be his former VEBRIFUGE bandmate Dano Boland, who will also be recording the new album with the group.
