DRAGONSLAYER: '80s Recordings To Be Released On CD

This long-forgotten band DRAGONSLAYER, from the classic NWOBHM scene, will have its music released on a special CD reissue from Shadow Kingdom Records in October.

Shadow Kingdom has assembled and made available together for the first time ever the band's three-song 7", as well as demo material from 1982 and 1986, all in their original quality on CD. It was also be available in a gorgeous limited-edition 2xLP format.

Originally called HEAVY THUNDER, the band quickly changed its name to SLAYER — the first act to use that name. This reissue contains music that was released under the SLAYER name as well as the moniker the band eventually ended up with: DRAGONSLAYER. While the group worked hard, it never signed a record deal, but did officially release a three-song 7" in 1984.
